POWERING AC DEVICES FROM A CONTROLLER WITH RELAYS

USING AC DEVICES WITH A CONTROLLER OR RELAY

Relays act as a switch that contact two wires together completing the cicuit.  Several of our controllers contain relays such as the PicoBoo, PicoBoo Jr, PicoBoo Plus, PicoBoo Max, and the Simple Timer.

USING AN AC DEVICE WITH A 2-PRONG PLUG

You can cut the device's cable or use an extension cord and then plug the device into that.  Male sure the total of all AC devices plugged into one relay do not exceed 10amps!

USING AN AC DEVICE WITH A 3-PRONG PLUG

You can cut the device's cable or use an extension cord and then plug the device into that.  

USING AN AC SOLENOID

Solenoids do not come with an AC plug attach and so you will need to attach a plug and wire as shown.  

USING AN AC AND DC DEVICE ON THE SAME CONTROLLER
