Head Lifter Mechanism

The main body is made from 1/8" aluminum 6061 T6, and the lift guide was machined from UHMW plastic for long wear. The wiper motor drive arm is 1/8" steel, and the lift rod is extruded aluminum 6061 T6 that spins on Oilite bronze bushings.

The unit is powered by a high torque 12 volt DC wiper motor.

The lift rod has the same diameter as 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC so it works great with most foam wig heads and standard 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC fittings. This unit should have no problems running vertically or horizontally and could even be mounted upside down. The unit has a 12 inch range of motion (up/down)

POWER SUPPLY IS NOT INCLUDED! We recommend using a 12 volt 5 amp power supply paired with a PWM (speed controller) board to obtain the desired movement from the mechanism.

Installation notes:

Maximum weight will depend on the prop and mounting configuration, but the unit can lift a 5 lb prop head without an issue.

It is recommended to have support along the entire mounting edge to keep the unit from flexing under a load.

This unit can be used outdoors as long as reasonable protection is given to the motor and electrical connections.
