NOTE: We do not recommend activating solenoids with this unit without the use of a diode installed between the unit and the solenoid. Directly activating solenoids with this unit will damage the device.

The solid state outputs directly supply voltage to connected devices when commanded via DMX. The voltage (12 or 24) you power the decoder with determines the voltage that will be sent to the solid state outputs. So if your devices require 12V then get a 12V power supply, or if they require 24V then get a 24V power supply. To determine the appropriate amperage of the power supply you will need to add up the requirements of each device that will be connected to the decoder and then an additional 300mA for decoder itself.
