Problem is, with the flow control mufflers installed on the solenoid, I can no longer connect the barrel connect from the air compressor to the quick connect on the solenoid. I assume I will need some kind of extension(s)? Please advise. Thanks

I have a prop that has a run time of one minute start to finish. The trigger(beam) on the prop is such that if you trigger it once it starts the cycle, but if it's triggered again it stops the cycle. The issue I have with the Boobox 4 is that if I use the delay, the prop will run through the cycle, but it does not allow the second trigger input to work until the first scene has completed. Is there a secondary product that can be triggered by the boobox 4, that will control the delay instead of the delay being in the boobox so that i can have the second trigger function?

I recently received an order (order #M00018611) for a DC Activated Single Pull Double Throw : Relay Board (SKU:0672-0086-1002). I am trying to use it to turn on and off a wiper motor zombie prop. I have it hooked to a Hauntbots APC16+. I believe everything is hooked up correctly but I cannot get the relay to energize and turn on the prop (when using the NC output). If I connect to the NO output the motor runs continuously. I'm not sure what the problem is and am seeking any help you can provide. If needed I can send pictures of how it is wired. Thanks, Randy.

I would like to use a beam sensor to trigger a prop, when the beam is broken the prop triggers (correct?), so I assume the prop quits as soon as the beam re-establishes contact. What can I use to keep the prop running to completion (it takes about 10 seconds to complete its cycle), even though the beam sensor circuit is no longer open. But then the prop needs to be able to work again within 30 seconds. Any suggestions and help with wiring would be appreciated. Thank you, gumprock@swbell.net

I'm trying to size the right cylinder. I am trying to animate a coffin lid. I'm guessing it weighs about 20 to 40 lbs. I haven't really weighed it yet. I want to crack the lid open like 3 inches. I want it to move up and down rather quickly because I want it to bang. I'm thinking 4 in / sec is quick enough. I have read your documents, but I'm not fully understanding how equation for power factor. The example used 60 PSI which sounds reasonable. Is the resulting power factor for 60 lbs or 100 lbs as in the charts? Let's say my load is 40 lbs. We add 25% for friction so that's 50 lbs. I want the velocity to be about 4 in. / sec so that's an additional 25% which yields about 63 lbs. 63 lbs / 60 PSI = 1.05 power factor So, now I'm confused. That charts show power factor @ 100 PSI. So is my result at 60 PSI or 100 PSI? Do I take the power factor in the chart and divide by 2 (50 PSI) and see which come closest? Given this equation, would a 1.5 inch bore cylinder by the right one? Thanks, Joseph Garcia

I purchased the high torque MOT2 motor because our creative people always want to build it bigger and heavier. The problem is that 6rpm = 10 seconds. This is fine for a lawn display, where people stop and look at the whole lawn. I believe that our mule drawn float would not get through a whole cycle before it is out of sight. 5 seconds would do just fine. Can I safely use 24 volts on this motor? Also, a request. Consider offering a motor that has a 5 second cycle.

I recently purchased one of the creature crate packages and there are not any clear instructions that I can find on how to hook up this device to work as I expected. Each of the devices that I received has instructions on how they work, but not everything together. I have the Picaboo, motion sensor, speaker, double acting pneumatic and a solenoid. All I am looking at doing is have the pneumatic device go in and out when the motion sensor is activated, but I'm stumped and have been watching a lot of video trying to figure it out. I can get the sound working, but the cylinder just stays motionless...how do I hook up these packaged components to get them to work together? Does the solenoid need to be powered up independently or is it connected to the Picaboo for power. I assume that all the pieces that I need are in this kit... Please let me know how I can get this working....thanks
