      Operation

Program 1 - Set DMX Address:

      1. Hold the "O" button while pressing "+" or "-" to adjust program to "P-1", then release "O"
      2. Press "+" or "-" to the desired DMX address and press "X" to send programming signal to Precision DMX fixture to set address
      3. The Precision DMX fixture should reset with a flash of white and respond by flashing an RGB pattern representing its DMX address: red for hundreds, green for tens, and blue for ones. For example, an address of "512" will flash 5 times in red, 1 time in green, and 2 times in blue (r,r,r,r,r,g,b,b). An address of "101" will flash only 1 time in red and 1 time in blue (r,b).

Program 2 - Set Fixture Address:

For convenience, Program 2 will automatically calculate the 7 channel DMX fixture's start address based on its fixture number. For example, "n01" sets DMX address to 1, "n02" sets DMX address to 8, "n03" sets DMX address to 15, and so on.

      1. Hold the "O" button while pressing "+" or "-" to adjust program to "P-2", then release "O"
      2. Press "+" or "-" to the desired fixture number and press "X" to send programming signal to Precision DMX fixture to set address

      Program 3 - 224 Channel DMX Controller:

The DMX Progammer has a built-in 224 channel DMX output, an excellent feature for fixture verification and for continuously sending static signals to systems only needing to maintain a single state such as holding a single color, strobe speed, or effect.

      1. Hold the "O" button while pressing "+" or "-" to adjust program to "P-3", then release "O"
      2. The 3 digit display should flash back and forth between "ch" and a DMX channel. Press "+" or "-" to change to the desired channel to be controlled and press "X" to enter the channel control mode
      3. Once in channel control mode, the 3 digit display should display a solid number indicating the channel's current output level. Press "+" or "-" to change to the desired output level (0-255) and press "X" to set the output level and return to channel selection. Note: if you don't push "X", the channel level will not be stored to memory.
      4. You may repeat steps 2 and 3 for each DMX channel to be controlled.

      Program 4 - Autoplay:

The autoplay program will generate chase signals up for up to 32 individually addressed Precision DMX fixtures. There are over 15 preset patterns that can be achieved with the autoplay program.

1, Hold the "O" button while pressing "+" or "-" to adjust program to "P-4", then release "O"
      2. Press "+" or "-" to change to the desired autoplay pattern.
      3. Press "X" to enter fixture number selection. Press "+" and "-" to set the number of fixtures. The display will show "n04" up to "n32". Press "X" again to to back to pattern selection.

Program 5 - Debug Address Signal:

This program is for fixture verification only. Pressing "+" will set the Precision DMX address to 321 which will flash (r,r,r,g,g,b), Pressing "-" will set the DMX address to 1, which will flash once in blue.

Program 6 - Debug Channel Signal:

This program is for fixture verification only. Pressing "+" and "-" will ramp up and down channels 1 through 7 (displayed at "t-1" through "t-7") to verify the Precision DMX is working correctly.
