Props - Proximity Sensors & Triggers - Sensing Mats
Pressure Sensing Mats trigger props when a person steps on them.
Basically they are a switch
that is activated by foot pressure. It works like a light
switch being turned on and off but instead of using your fingers you use your
footstep.
We offer our Pressure Sensing Mats in 4 different sizes.
The 25-ft. long cut-to-length roll can be cut to your requirements (roll width
cannot be cut).
Larger sizes ensure that a person will not step over a mat.
Our Pressure Sensing Mats are flexible and water resistant, come in black,
and are 3/32 inch thick.
Pressure Sensing Mats must be located on a flat surface with no rocks
or other debris under them. Any sharp particles will ruin the mat
and void your warranty! You can use duct tape to secure to concrete floors (as shown)
or they can be hidden under carpeting or matting.
For heavy duty applications, they can be placed under
plywood or Masonite.
For low voltage use only! The maximum electrical
requirements are 24v/AC-DC @ 1 amp.
If you need to turn on and off 110V AC devices that you
would normally plug into a wall outlet then
you must use a relay or use with one of our Prop Controllers.
