3-Way Solenoid Valves

- Used to operate single acting cylinders or as a simple device to blow air.
- 3 orifices - Air in (from compressor), Air out (to cylinder), Exhaust out.
- Hook up supply air to inlet, when power is applied solenoid opens and air release out of outlet.
- When power is removed solenoid release cylinder pressure out of exhaust port.

4-Way Solenoid Valves

- Required to operate double acting cylinders.
- 4 orifices - Air in (from compressor), Air out 1 (to top of cylinder), Air out 2 (to bottom of cylinder), and Exhaust out.
- Hook up supply air to inlet, when power is applied solenoid opens and air releases out of outlet 1, when power is removed air releases out of outlet 2. Exhaust out releases air from outlet that is not open.

5-Way Solenoid Valves

- Required to operate double acting cylinders.
- 5 orifices - Air in (from compressor), Air out 1 (to top of cylinder), Air out 2 (to bottom of cylinder), and Exhaust out 1 & 2.
- Hook up supply air to inlet, when power is applied solenoid opens and air releases out of outlet 1, when power is removed air releases out of outlet 2. Exhaust out 1 or 2 releases air from outlets.

3-Way Stacking Solenoid Valves
Stacking valves are for applications that require multiple valves. All valves
conveniently share the same air input and exhaust. Each valve operates exactly like
regular 3-way valves.
For each stack you just order the number of valves you need and one end plate
kit per stack. All hardware and gaskets are included.
Output orifices are threaded female 1/8". The inlets and exhaust on the end
plates are 1/4" ports.
Comes with 8" flying leads (wires) for electrical hookup.
| This picture shows a stack of 3-way stacking valves. There are 4 valves and 1 End Plate Kit.
You are not limited to 4 valves, you can stack together as many valves as you need.

Power Requirements
We offer solenoids with both AC and DC options. The AC versions plug into a standard wall outlet.
The DC versions require a power supply to operate. Some are 12v DC and some are 24v DC. The 24v DC
versions require less amperage to operate than 12v DC.
